Spiced chai latte
(makes 3 cups)
INGREDIENTS

2 cups water
-
2 black tea bags
-
¼ tsp cloves
-
1 tsp ground cinnamon
-
½ tsp ground ginger
-
½ tsp cardamom
-
½ tsp ground nutmeg
-
⅛ tsp ground allspice
-
3 cups almond milk
-
honey
METHOD

In a medium sized pot, add water and spices and mix until it starts to boil, then turn off the heat and add the tea bags and let it sit in the water for 5 minutes.

In a large pan add the almond milk and heat until it starts to boil, then turn it off and remove from stove

Mix the chai tea with the almond milk and you can serve as it is or blend for a few seconds to achieve a frothy milk

Divide the mix between cups and add honey for sweetness (I add 1tsp, depending on your preferred taste) then sprinkle with cinnamon

Serve warm.

If you do not use all the chai tea mixture you can store it in the fridge as use it the next day.
