Chilli honey roasted cauliflower

(serves 3 as sides)


  • 1 small head of cauliflower

  • 2.5 tblsp honey

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 tblsp balsamic vinegar

  • 2 tblsp almond flour

  • 2 tblsp cider vinegar

  • Pinch salt

  • 1/3 tsp chilli powder

  • 1 tblsp olive oil

  • 2 spring onions



  1. Preheat oven to 200°C and prepare a baking tray with tinfoil

  2. Cut the cauliflower into small pieces and place on the prepared baking tray

  3. Drizzle over 1 tablespoon of olive oil and mix the cauliflower to coat thoroughly, then sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  4. Roast in the oven for 12 minutes or until the cauliflower start to caramelize and slightly brown

  5. Mince the garlic and combine with the rest of the ingredients

  6. When the cauliflower is done, transfer to a large bowl and pour the sauce over it and toss the cauliflower thoroughly

  7. Return to the baking sheet and roast for an additional 12 minutes, so that the cauliflower can absorb some of the sauce.

  8. When finished dish up the plate and sprinkle with chopped spring onions

  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
