



Apple Cinnamon Bites
INGREDIENTS

120g unsalted butter

3 tblsp honey

1 tblsp maple syrup

2 eggs
-
2 tsp vanilla extract
-
1/4 tsp salt
-
1 cup coconut flour
-
2 tsp ground cinnamon
-
1/2 tsp ground ginger
-
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

2 medium apples
METHOD

Preheat the oven to 180C and line an 6x6-inch square baking pan with baking paper

Peel and chop the apples into small pieces and set aside

Mix the flour, eggs, vanilla, salt and spices in a large bowl until completely combined,
-
Melt the butter and add honey and syrup, whisk until combined then add to the flour mixture

Add the apples to the mixture and stir to combine ingredients
-
Spread into the prepared pan, and bake for about 30 minutes, until the top browns and a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.

Remove from oven, lift the paper and cake from pan and place on wire rack and allow to cool completely

Cut into pieces, place in a box and store in the fridge
