Creamy amla smoothie


  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk/cream

  • 1 tsp amla powder (I like to buy from Buy Whole online - see link below)

  • 1/8 tsp mixed spice

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 4-6 ice cubes (more or less as needed)

  • ½ tblsp honey

  • ½ tblsp chia seeds



  1. Peel the banana and cut into pieces, use either a small bag or box and freeze over night

  2. When you are ready to make the smoothie add all the ingredients to a blender and whizz well until all combined, the ice is optional, or you can just add a few cubes at the end after you have blended all the ingredients, of go without the ice, because using frozen banana will make it quite cold already

  3. Enjoy for breakfast!
